Health, Inclusion, Prevention

Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) is committed to equal opportunities as a mission-driven society: obtaining a diploma is not an end in itself but a step towards a fulfilling career. Health, inclusion, and prevention are among our focus points throughout students’ lives at GEM.

ย

Acting for a peaceful academic experience and a sustainable professional future

True to its status as a Mission-Driven Company, GEM takes concrete and committed action to promote:

GEM works to ensure that every student can enjoy a balanced, inclusive, and respectful academic experience within an environment that values diversity and living together. The goal is to enable each individual to make informed choices and achieve sustainable, high-quality professional integration aligned with their aspirations and skills, regardless of their personal, health-related, family, or financial situation.

Health & Prevention

GEM provides students with access to Qare, a telemedicine service offering medical consultations (general practice and specialties), as well as on-campus psychological support consultations.

In addition, GEM carries out prevention initiatives in collaboration with its Student Health Ambassadors, who act as peer representatives across four key areas: mental health, physical health, festive health, and sexual health.

GEM also operates a dedicated listening and support unit for victims and witnesses of sexual and gender-based violence, discrimination, and harassment (SGBV-DH).

Academic arrangements: disability support and student caregivers

GEM supports students facing situations related to disability, mental health, physical health, neurodiversity, or family responsibilities when these have a temporary or lasting impact on academic success. This support is available throughout the entire academic journey, including during periods spent in companies, and extends through the transition into professional life.

The support framework is built around four core missions:

Accessing academic arrangements

To benefit from arrangements, students are encouraged to contact theย Health & Inclusion team ย as early as possible, ideally during the admissions phase.

All personal and health-related data are handled withย strict confidentiality. Only information relating to the arrangements themselves is shared with the relevant teams.

Meeting our partner companies committed to disability & inclusion

GEM relies onย strong, long-term partnershipsย with companies committed to inclusion and disability awareness. These collaborations help fund arrangements, tailored support measures, and disability awareness initiatives.

Networking and recruitment events are organized throughout the year, notably withย Bpifrance , CGI Business Consulting, Dassault Systรจmes, Groupe SEB, Schneider Electric, Wavestone, and other committed partners.

Diversitรฉ & Inclusion

Preventing and combating sexual and gender-based violence, discrimination, and harassment

GEM deploys a structured and ambitious policy, notably based on:

Inclusion of LGBTQ+ communities

The inclusion of LGBTQ+ individuals is a fully integrated pillar of GEMโ€™s Diversity & Inclusion strategy, including:

These initiatives are complemented by the publication of aย โ€œViolence, Discrimination, and Harassmentโ€ barometerย to assess studentsโ€™ lived experiences and strengthen prevention, support, and continuous improvement efforts.
